Elite Singles NZ is designed exclusively for individuals looking for meaningful, long-term connections. Users engaging solely for casual encounters, entertainment, or non-dating activities may have their accounts terminated without warning.

3. Acceptable Conduct & Prohibited Behaviour

Community Standards

Members must interact respectfully, maintain privacy boundaries, and refrain from spamming, soliciting, or posting offensive material. Communication should align with New Zealand social norms and platform etiquette.

Prohibited Actions

• Posting copyrighted or explicit material without consent
• Using automated bots, scrapers, or third-party data extraction tools
• Impersonating another individual or organization
• Engaging in political, religious, or commercial solicitation

4. Harassment Policy & Fake Profile Ban

Zero Tolerance for Abuse

We maintain a strict harassment policy covering bullying, threats, discrimination, and unwanted advances. Reports are reviewed promptly, and confirmed violations result in permanent bans and data retention for legal compliance.

Fraud Prevention

Fake profiles created for financial gain, romance scams, or identity theft are strictly prohibited. Our moderation team employs verification checks and community reporting to maintain platform integrity.

5. Commercial Use Restriction & Content Ownership

Non-Commercial Access

The platform is licensed for personal, non-commercial use only. Reselling memberships, advertising third-party services, or extracting user data for marketing purposes constitutes a breach of terms.

User Content Rights

You retain ownership of your original photos and messages. By uploading content, you grant Elite Singles NZ a limited, worldwide license to host, display, and distribute your material solely for platform operation and matching purposes.

6. Subscription Terms & Payment Rules

Membership Plans

Premium features require an active subscription. Prices are displayed clearly before checkout and may change with thirty (30) days written notice. Auto-renewal is enabled by default unless disabled in account settings.

Payment Processing

All transactions are processed through secure, PCI-compliant gateways. You authorize us to charge the provided payment method for recurring billing cycles. Currency is primarily in New Zealand Dollars (NZD).

7. Cancellation Guidance & Refund Notes

How to Cancel

To stop auto-renewal, navigate to Account Settings > Billing > Manage Subscription and follow the cancellation steps. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing cycle.

Refund Policy

Due to the digital nature of our services, refunds are generally not issued after access has been granted. Exceptions apply only in cases of duplicate charging or technical failures preventing service delivery, subject to manager review.

8. Platform Availability & Moderation Rights

Service Uptime

We strive for 99.9% operational stability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Scheduled maintenance windows will be communicated via email and site banners.

Content Moderation

Our safety team reserves the right to remove content, restrict features, or terminate accounts at sole discretion if terms are violated, legal threats arise, or user safety is compromised.

Liability Cap

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from account use, service interruptions, or user-generated content. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the preceding twelve months.

11. Dispute Process & New Zealand Legal Context

Resolution Steps

Any disagreements regarding these terms will first undergo informal negotiation. If unresolved, parties agree to mediation in Auckland, New Zealand, before pursuing formal litigation.

Governing Law

This agreement is governed by the laws of New Zealand. The Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 and Fair Trading Act 1986 apply where mandatory. Users outside NZ acknowledge local compliance requirements.

12. Terms Updates & User Termination

Modifications

We may revise these terms periodically. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Material updates affecting privacy or billing will trigger direct email notification.

Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time via settings. Upon closure, matching history and private messages are permanently removed after a 30-day grace period. Outstanding fees remain payable.
